Swissgrid

IFBC acted as financial advisor to Swissgrid on the acquisition of a minority stake in Holding des Gestionnaires de Réseau de Transport d'Electricité (HGRT). HGRT owns a 49% stake in EPEX SPOT, the leading spot exchange for Central and Western Europe. The mandate focused on the valuation of the target to create a reliable decision basis for the transaction. Swissgrid is the national grid company, and in its capacity as owner of the transmission system it ensures the secure, reliable and cost-effective operation of the Swiss high-voltage grid.
