Financial Advisor and M&A Advisor to EZL in the successful sale of MZ Sanitär + Heizung and Lampert + Walker to their existing managing directors
On 9. October 2026, Energie Zürichsee Linth AG (EZL) announced two transactions. The existing managing directors of MZ Sanitär + Heizung AG and Lampert + Walker AG are taking over their respective EZL subsidiaries as part of management buyouts (MBOs). There will be no immediate changes for employees, customers, or business partners.

With this sale, EZL is sharpening its strategic focus. At the same time, the two subsidiaries can continue to develop independently under their current leadership. Expertise, customer relationships, and operational responsibility thus remain in the hands of the existing managing directors.
IFBC supported EZL as the exclusive Financial and M&A Advisor throughout the entire sale process. In particular, IFBC assisted the previous owner in designing and structuring the transaction process, as well as in contract and purchase price negotiations. The two MBOs open up additional opportunities for the companies to drive the growth of their businesses.
